Photocopy of Transcript (Consolidated) duly attested from Examination Department. (Note: Transcript without attestation from Examination Department will not be accepted)
Photocopy of CNIC (Self and Permitted guest/s name(s) provided in the form). Furthermore, please note that university may ask you to produce any other identity document when required.

INSTRUCTIONS & GUIDELINES
Please read the guidelines / instructions carefully which you are required to follow in addition to the instructions already provided to you.
On Saturday, March 7, 2020, the convocation will commence at 11:00 A.M. sharp.
To remind you of punctuality, the convocation will start on time. You should reach the Venue “Pearl Continental Hotel, Club Road, Karachi” before time. Utmost punctuality is to be observed according to the given program. Shahrah-e-Faisal is, at times, traffic congestion area. Please keep enough margin to reach in time. Once the ceremony is called to order, no degree recipient will be allowed to join the form-up.
Full Dress Rehearsal will be held on Friday, March 6, 2020 at 5:30 p.m. sharp. Please be punctual. Rehearsal is mandatory to attend in prescribed academic costume. Venue is “Pearl Continental Hotel, Club Road, Karachi”. Please use club road gate for entrance.
Academic costumes will be available on the additional payment of Rs. 2,500/- (Rs. 500/- as rent of academic costume and Rs. 2,000/- as security deposit which is refundable upon return of academic costume) through the Rizvi Tailors stall in Admission office. Academic costume Issuance date: From Thursday, February 27, 2020 to Saturday, February 29, 2020 Academic costume Return date: From Monday, March 9, 2020 to Tuesday, March 10, 2020 Note: You may also return the costume at Rizvi Tailors stall after the convocation is finished.
Your attendance is subject to presenting Receipt (of Convocation fee paid) on rehearsal day and invitation card on Convocation day at Venue entrance gate. The invitation card issued by MAJU is the only requirement for the entrance at the Venue. The same condition holds good for your guests also. Entry will be on the basis of one person one card and for the addressee only. Kindly keep the card with envelope handy at entrance.

Only Two Guests are allowed with the degree recipient. That is total three persons. (One degree recipient + two guests). Extra guest will be charged of Rs. 6,000 per guest. Extra guests will be confirmed only if the seats are available otherwise the charges of extra guests will be refunded.
The invitation card is valid for the addressee only. It is neither transferable nor duplicate invitation card will be issued at any cost. Please also keep your CNIC / other identity with you to be produced if demanded by authorized persons at entrance because of security reasons.
Degree fees is separately charged and not included in Convocation registration fees.
You will be guided by the Staff / Ushers on duty for seating plan, line-up to obtain degree and other logistics. Listen carefully to their instructions and strictly follow the guidelines.
Students are required to sit on their assigned seats with the color code of their respective Program. Your seat location will be different from that of your guests. Further guidance will be provided on rehearsal day.
University management has officially hired photographers for snaps of line-up, wide angle group photographs and other events. Photographer will also setup a booth to take photographs of you with your family and friends. The copies will be provided to you at cost later on. Therefore, please abstain from taking photographs at venue when the session is in progress.
Please pay due attention to the announcements made during rehearsal session as well as those before, during and after the convocation. Please refrain from leaving seats, walking around in the Venue and talking to each other when the session is in progress. Please understand that this is not a social gathering and that the noise level should be to an extreme minimum.
Children under the age of 12 years are strictly not allowed in rehearsal & on the Convocation day. Please therefore avoid such embarrassing situations.
Smoking, chewing of PAN, GUM and bringing any sports goods at venue is prohibited.
