COURSE OBJECTIVES

• To enable students to learn fundamentals of Auto Cad.
• To lean broader aspect of civil engineering drawing.
• To have skills to prepare architectural, structural, plumbing, electrical, hydraulic structures and highway/motorway drawings in Auto Cad.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES (CLO)

CLO: 1. To describe different perspective (functions) of latest version of both AutoCad (in detail) and Building Information Modeling ‘BIM’ (in general) related to civil engineering domain.
CLO: 2. To explain the civil engineering drawings of different specialties (e.g. architecture, structures, plumbing, electrical/HVAC, irrigation and transportation etc.) for large structures.
CLO: 3. To discuss as well as interpret civil engineering drawings of different specialties for large structures.
CLO: 4. To prepare civil engineering drawings of different specialties using AutoCAD.
