BE Computer Systems Engineering

The Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Systems at MAJU is a four-year undergraduate program designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills required to design, develop, integrate, and maintain modern computing and embedded systems. As a Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC)-accredited program, it follows the principles of Outcome-Based Education (OBE), ensuring that graduates achieve clearly defined learning outcomes aligned with industry and professional standards.

The program provides a balanced foundation in computer engineering, electronics, digital systems, embedded systems, computer networks, hardware-software integration, and emerging technologies. Students gain practical experience through well-equipped hardware and software laboratories, embedded systems and microcontroller labs, networking facilities, and project-based learning environments that support innovation and experimentation.

A key focus of the program is the application of engineering principles to solve real-world challenges involving intelligent devices, automation systems, Internet of Things (IoT) solutions, communication networks, and computer-based control systems. Through laboratory work, industry-oriented projects, internships, and capstone design projects, students develop strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving abilities.

Graduates of the program are prepared for careers in embedded systems design, hardware-software co-design, automation, networking, telecommunications, IoT development, cybersecurity, and related engineering fields, while also being well-positioned for advanced studies and research in computing and engineering technologies.

Career Prospects

Graduates of the Computer Systems Engineering program can pursue careers in both hardware and software domains, including:

  • Embedded Systems Engineer
  • Computer Hardware Design Engineer
  • Network and Systems Engineer
  • Internet of Things (IoT) Engineer
  • Cybersecurity Engineer
