BE Software Engineering
The Bachelor of Software Engineering at MAJU is a four-year undergraduate program designed to prepare students for careers in software development, software architecture, quality assurance, data analytics, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and related fields. As a Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC)-accredited program, it follows the principles of Outcome-Based Education (OBE), ensuring that graduates develop the knowledge, skills, and professional competencies required by the software industry and society.
The program combines a strong foundation in computing, engineering principles, mathematics, and software design with hands-on learning experiences. Students are provided access to modern computing infrastructure, specialized software laboratories, project development facilities, and industry-relevant tools that support practical learning and innovation. Throughout the program, emphasis is placed on solving real-world problems through software solutions, collaborative projects, internships, and capstone design projects.
The curriculum is designed to align with current technological trends and industry requirements while promoting critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and ethical professional practices. By integrating theoretical knowledge with practical application, the program aims to produce competent software engineers who can contribute effectively to industry, research, entrepreneurship, and the development of technology-driven solutions for local and global challenges.
