Muhammad Meraj

Dr. Muhammad Meraj is a highly respected and accomplished economist, renowned for his extensive academic qualifications and broad range of expertise. With a Ph.D. from Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University (APU), Japan, an M.Phil. from the Applied Economic Research Centre (AERC), Karachi, and multiple other degrees from the University of Karachi, Pakistan, Dr. Meraj brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his work.

Dr. Afaq Ali Khan

Afaq Ali Khan is a highly experienced and accomplished professor, with over 25 years of teaching experience at the university level. He is currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Mohammad Ali Jinnah University, a position he has held since 2004. His academic qualifications include an MSc (Eco) and BSc (Hon) in economics from the International Islamic University in Islamabad, as well as an MS (Eco & Fin) from Mohammad Ali Jinnah University. Furthermore, he is currently pursuing a PhD in Economics from the University of Karachi.

Dr. Muhammad Noman

Dr. Noman is a highly accomplished and experienced economist, with a strong background in both teaching and research. With a PhD in Economics, and more than 10 years of professional experience, Dr. Noman has established himself as a dynamic and competent expert in his field.

Maryum Firdous

Maryum Firdous is a Lecturer and Consultant Psychologist at the Department of Psychology since 2020. She is an active member of the University Admission Committee and the Department's Board of Studies. She is a Ph.D. fellow, M.Phil. (HEC scholar), M.A. Gold Medalist (HEC scholar) in Psychology. She has served Army Public School and College-COD Karachi (2018-20) for student counseling and teacher consultation and training.

Aleem Ashraf

Mr. Aleem Ashraf is a Lecturer at the Department of Psychology and member of the Quality Enhancement Cell at MAJU. He holds a master's degree in clinical psychology from the Institute of Clinical Psychology (ICP), and is currently pursuing a PhD in psychology from the University of Karachi. He is also an international affiliate of the Society for the Teaching of Psychology (STP), and member of the American Psychological Association (APA). He has previously served as a Teaching Associate at ICP, Karachi, and as a research analyst in a private firm.

Saira Niazi

Saira Niazi is working as a Lecturer and Clinical Psychologist at the Psychology Department. She is Clinical Incharge of the Wellness Center, MAJU. She has completed her M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology from the Institute of Clinical Psychology, University of Karachi. She has also served as a Clinical Psychologist in New Horizon Drug Rehabilitation Center and The Indus Hospital.

Sara Aleem

Sara Aleem Haqqi is a Lecturer at the Department of Psychology at MAJU. She holds MS in Clinical Psychology from National University of Science and Technology (NUST). She is a member of National Eating Disorder Council (Australia), Academy for Eating Disorders (AED) and MEEDA. She has completed multiple professional trainings on treatment of eating disorders and geriatric care and is a certified Google Project Management Professional and is interested in exploring the sustainable development in healthcare sector particularly mental health.

Bisma Gulzar

Bisma Gulzar is a dedicated Lecturer and Clinical Psychologist with a passion for continuous learning and professional development. She has been serving as a lecturer at Mohammad Ali Jinnah University since February 2021 and holds the position of FYP Coordinator for the Department of Psychology. Bisma Gulzar has actively pursued additional training in various psychotherapeutic interventions, including Internal Family System, Couples Counseling (Gottman Method), teletherapy, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. This commitment to expanding her skills and knowledge reflects her belief in the importance of staying updated with the latest practices in her field.

Murk Qazi is an Associate Psychologist and an EMDR trained therapist, based in Karachi, Pakistan. She has done MS Clinical Psychology and has a work experience of 6 years. For the last year she has been working actively in the Education field and has been associated with MAJU since February 2023.
