Ahmer Umer

Mr. Ahmer Umer is working as an Assistant Professors and Controller of Examination at Mohammad Ali Jinnah University. He has completed his BS and MS degree from Mohammad Ali Jinnah University, pursuing PhD from FUUAST. He has multi-dimensional experience of work in Industry, Academia, Management and Consultancy in different sectors and having produced significant results in achieving the goals.

Dr. Muhammad Ibrahim Shamsi

Mr. M. Ibrahim Shamsi is a PhD scholar in the field of Supply Chain Management from Putra Business School, University Putra Malaysia. He earned MBA (Supply Chain Management) & MSc (Statistics) degrees with more than 15 years of teaching experience as full time Teacher in the Department of Statistics, University of Karachi, IQRA University, FAST-National University of Computer and Emerging Science, Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science & Technology-SZABIST and MAJU- Mohammad Ali Jinnah University. Moreover, apart from teaching and research Mr. Shamsi served on various administrative portfolios University, Faculty and Department wise. Such as Focal Person of NBEAC, Coordinator of Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC), Head of Quality Assurance Committee (Management Science Department), Member of Exam Vigilance Committee, Member of Canteen Committee, Member of Students Affairs advisory team, Head of Business Administration Society and QEC representative in various Board of Faculties and Board of Studies meetings. Mr. Shamsi is proud to be a part of such a QEC team who achieved the most awaited and needed milestone.

Afaq Ali Khan

Afaq Ali Khan is a highly experienced and accomplished professor, with over 25 years of teaching experience at the university level. He is currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Mohammad Ali Jinnah University, a position he has held since 2004. His academic qualifications include an MSc (Eco) and BSc (Hon) in economics from the International Islamic University in Islamabad, as well as an MS (Eco & Fin) from Mohammad Ali Jinnah University. Furthermore, he is currently pursuing a PhD in Economics from the University of Karachi.

Muhammad Noman

Dr. Noman is a highly accomplished and experienced economist, with a strong background in both teaching and research. With a PhD in Economics, and more than 10 years of professional experience, Dr. Noman has established himself as a dynamic and competent expert in his field.

Dr. Areeb Ahmed

PROFILE SUMMARY

Dr. Areeb Ahmed has an overall 13 years of teaching, research and administrative experience in national & international organizations. Presently, he is serving as an Associate Professor and Head of Electrical and Computer Engineering Department where he has also remained Director, QEC and Director, ORIC. He has been conducting research on the effects of alpha-stable noise on communication systems, power systems, smart grids and memristive systems in association with F.A Savaci Lab at Izmir Institute of Technology, Turkey where he has completed his PhD on the Turkish Government Fully-Funded Research Grant. For this work, he was awarded the IEEE Turkey Best Research Paper Award in Telecommunications for the year 2018. He has also secured various funded projects from NESCOM and IGNITE R&D Fund in the area of AI, Communications and Smart Wearable Electronics. Moreover, he has also supervised multidisciplinary research on Agro- Electronics in collaboration with Pakistan Agriculture & Research Council (PARC). He has 8 Journal & 6 Conference publications indexed in Web of Science. He also serves as a reviewer for IEEE, IET and ETRI indexed international journals & conferences. Additionally, he also reviews various NRPU, PSF and HEC projects for potential funding. He is also a member of IEEE, IET, ACES and PEC as well. Apart from academic background, he has also remained Chairperson of IEEE Communication Society, FAST-NUCES, Karachi Campus where he was an active member of various technology related extracurricular activities.

Asif Saeed Naji

Mr. Asif Naji is an Assistant Professor at MAJU. He received his MS degree from SZABIST, M. Com (Finance) from University of Karachi, ACMA from ICMAP and is currently enrolled in the PHD in University of Karachi. Mr Asif is also an associate member of Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan. Previously, he served as a Lecturer at Defense Authority Degree College, also has corporate experience of working at AL- Latif Textile as an Accounts Officer.

Farah Akram

PROFILE SUMMARY

Ms. Farah Akram has earned her bachelor’s and master’s degree in electrical engineering with specialization in Power and Energy. She has also worked as a research scholar in Arizona State University funded by USAID. She has done multiple projects related to Power Systems. She is serving as a Lecturer in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at MAJU. Apart from teaching, she is also serving as a Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) representative of the department.

Dr. Ghulam Muhammad

Dr. Ghulam Muhammad has more than 18 years of experience in Research, Training, Teaching and working as an HR Head. He has done Ph.D in HR, secured a Gold Medal in MS (HR) and Won numerous international Research Grants from HEC. His areas of expertise are HR Analytics, HR Audit and HR transformation. He visited several countries, wrote a book and presented or published 47 research papers in internationally renowned journals and conference proceedings. He also organized national and international conferences. He is involved in conducting and arranging training, workshops and seminars for industry professionals, faculty members, students and the General Public. He worked as a Director Business Research Center and Deputy Director ORIC. He has been involved in social work since 2004. Currently he is Working as an Assistant Professor and HoD, Department of Management Science at Mohammad Ali Jinnah University, Karachi.

Dr. Junaid Rehman

BE (Pakistan), MEM (Australia), MBA (Australia), PhD (Australia) P.ENG (Australia), MAPE (Australia), MPMI (USA), MAIS (USA), MASIS&T (USA) Dr. Junaid is serving as an Assistant Professor at Mohammad Ali Jinnah University, Karachi. He is also the CEO of Knowledge360, a Career Management & Training Consultancy. He received his PhD, MBA and MEM degrees from University of Technology, Sydney Australia and BE (Electronics) degree from Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, Jamshoro, Sindh. Dr. Junaid has more than 13 years of national and international experience that spreads across multiple industries as Federal Government Officer, Academic, Project Manager, Researcher and Consultant. His areas of expertise mainly include Public Sector Governance, Higher Education Policy Planning & Development, R&D Promotion, Technology & Innovation Management, Leadership & Emotional Intelligence, Organizational Transformation and Strategic Knowledge Management. He is a HEC & British Council Certified Research Grants Management Specialist and Trainer. Previously, he has worked at HEC, Pakistan wherein he facilitated cutting-edge research through research journal grants and policy regulations in the universities of Pakistan. At University of Technology, Sydney, he served as an Academic and taught technology management and research writing subjects at postgraduate level. He has presented his research at international conferences held in Japan, USA, UK, Australia, Poland & Italy. He has 22 publications which include 2 books and 20 Research Journal/A-ranked Conference Papers. He has also served as a Reviewer for WoS Q1 Impact Factor Journals. Besides, in recognition of his academic achievements, he was conferred upon “Star Laureate Award”, “Accomplish Award” and “SSA Australia Academic Excellence Award”.

Muhammad Faisal Majid

Mr. Faisal Majid has been associated with teaching Accounting & Finance courses at Mohammad Ali Jinnah University since 2008. He received his MS Finance degree from Muhammad Ali Jinnah University, Karachi and Masters in Economics from University of Karachi Mr. Faisal has a diverse experience of both Industry and Academia. He has served in the Field of Accounts, Finance and Audit. While in Academia he has experience of teaching Professional bodies students like ACCA, ICMAP, ICAP and PIPFA. He is also an Active Researcher in the field of Finance, Author and Co-Author of many research Papers.; he is also an Associate Member of Institute of Cost & Management Accountants of Pakistan and Public and Finance Accountants of Pakistan.

Dr. M. Asif Qureshi

Ph.D. Universiti Utara Malaysia (Accredited by AMBA and AACSB) Postdoc Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMap) International Research Fellow Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMap) Dr. Muhammad Asif Qureshi is working as an Associate Professor, Faculty of Business Administration at Mohammad Ali Jinnah University and also worked as a Director Research and Projects at MAJU. He earned his Ph.D. degree in Human Resource Management from University Utara Malaysia which is AMBA and AACSB accredited, Postdoctoral & International Research Fellow at University Malaysia Perlis. Dr. Qureshi has a wide international exposure and almost 14 years of work experience in teaching, research, and Industry level. He has published in A* Journal, International journal of hospitality management Impact factor 10.427 and earned Emerald Literati Awards from The TQM Journal. He has several Impact Factor publications to his credit in Scopus Q1, ABDC, ABS SSCI, SCI, ESCI and other top-notch research journals. He is a reviewer of several high-ranking research journals. Currently, he is editing a special issue in Frontiers in Psychology having an Impact Factor of 4.232, Scopus Q1, ABS. He has been invited as Session Chair and Keynote Speaker in a number of International Conferences. Dr. Qureshi has deep knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research and has presented in universities such as Oxford, United Kingdom. Harvard and MIT, USA. He nurtures and spearheads many research programs at his university and is a key protagonist of an inspirational research leadership. He has supervised more than 10 MS and PhD Thesis. He is well respected in the international research community and has a number of research publications in the area of Human Resource Management, CSR, Fintech, and Quantitative & Qualitative Research.

Dr. Hina Fatima

Dr. Hina Fatima received Master of Economics from Fatima Jinnah Women University, Rawalpindi, Master of Philosophy from International Islamic University, Islamabad, PhD from Fatima Jinnah Women University, Rawalpindi and PhD research Fellowship from West Texas A&M University, USA.  She is one of the key editorial members of Jinnah Business & Economic Research Journal and the Editor of Jinnah Research Bulletin. Currently, she is serving as associate professor and associate dean of Faculty of Business Administration (FoBA).

Mr. Asif Saeed Naji

Mariam Iqbal

Ms. Maryam Iqbal is a Lecturer at MAJU. She has done her master’s in Supply Chain Management. Ms. Maryam has more than 5 years of work experience, both in corporate and teaching. Prior to teaching, she worked as an assistant manager of pricing in the logistics department. Other than educational achievements, she has played in the World Cup in Roll Ball and represented Pakistan in Thailand and Bangladesh. She has also taken part in many social works.

Muhammad Meraj

Dr. Muhammad Meraj is a highly respected and accomplished economist, renowned for his extensive academic qualifications and broad range of expertise. With a Ph.D. from Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University (APU), Japan, an M.Phil. from the Applied Economic Research Centre (AERC), Karachi, and multiple other degrees from the University of Karachi, Pakistan, Dr. Meraj brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his work.

Bisma Gulzar

Bisma Gulzar is a dedicated Lecturer and Clinical Psychologist with a passion for continuous learning and professional development. She has been serving as a lecturer at Mohammad Ali Jinnah University since February 2021 and holds the position of FYP Coordinator for the Department of Psychology. Bisma Gulzar has actively pursued additional training in various psychotherapeutic interventions, including Internal Family System, Couples Counseling (Gottman Method), teletherapy, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. This commitment to expanding her skills and knowledge reflects her belief in the importance of staying updated with the latest practices in her field.

Aisha Rais Ahmed

Aisha Ahmed is a Consultant Psychologist and Lecturer at the Department of Psychology since 2021. Moreover, she is fulfilling her responsibilities as an academic advisor and the Incharge of Psychological Lab. She is a Ph.D. Scholar, M.Phil., PMDC, MSc in Clinical Psychology. She worked as a Clinical Psychologist and Rehabilitation Trainer at Karwan-e-Hayat for 2 years and She has served Army Public College-Saddar Karachi as an Emotional Health Counselor and Lecturer for 3 years.

Maryum Firdous

Maryum Firdous is a Lecturer and Consultant Psychologist at the Department of Psychology since 2020. She is an active member of the University Admission Committee and the Department's Board of Studies. She is a Ph.D. fellow, M.Phil. (HEC scholar), M.A. Gold Medalist (HEC scholar) in Psychology. She has served Army Public School and College-COD Karachi (2018-20) for student counseling and teacher consultation and training.

Aleem Ashraf

Mr. Aleem Ashraf is a Lecturer at the Department of Psychology and member of the Quality Enhancement Cell at MAJU. He holds a master's degree in clinical psychology from the Institute of Clinical Psychology (ICP), and is currently pursuing a PhD in psychology from the University of Karachi. He is also an international affiliate of the Society for the Teaching of Psychology (STP), and member of the American Psychological Association (APA). He has previously served as a Teaching Associate at ICP, Karachi, and as a research analyst in a private firm.

Saira Niazi

Saira Niazi is working as a Lecturer and Clinical Psychologist at the Psychology Department. She is Clinical Incharge of the Wellness Center, MAJU. She has completed her M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology from the Institute of Clinical Psychology, University of Karachi. She has also served as a Clinical Psychologist in New Horizon Drug Rehabilitation Center and The Indus Hospital.

Maryam Hanif Ghazi

Maryam Hanif Ghazi is a psychologist and has been teaching different courses of psychology to the students of various degree programs for more than a decade. She holds a master’s degree in Psychology and is currently enrolled in Ph.D. at the University of Karachi. She is one of the founding teaching faculty of the Department of Psychology at Mohammad Ali Jinnah University and presently serving MAJU as the Head of the Psychology department. Her expertise also lies in curriculum development and planning in the field of psychology.

Sara Aleem

Sara Aleem Haqqi is a Lecturer at the Department of Psychology at MAJU. She holds MS in Clinical Psychology from National University of Science and Technology (NUST). She is a member of National Eating Disorder Council (Australia), Academy for Eating Disorders (AED) and MEEDA. She has completed multiple professional trainings on treatment of eating disorders and geriatric care and is a certified Google Project Management Professional and is interested in exploring the sustainable development in healthcare sector particularly mental health.
