PROFILE SUMMARY

Dr. Huma Jawed has done her Ph.D. in Pharmacology (2013) from H.E.J. Research Institute of Chemistry, ICCBS, University of Karachi (enrolled with Faculty of Pharmacy University of Karachi). She obtained her master’s degree from Department of Biochemistry, University of Karachi (2004). Currently serve as a head department of Biosciences. She also worked as an acting Assistant Professor in Sir Syed College of Medical Sciences for the period of 3 and half years. She received several international travel awards to attend Neurosciences school/workshops organized by International Brain Research Organization and International Society of Neurochemistry. She is an Editorial Board member of International Journals, Journal of Arthritis Research and Therapy and International Journal of Orthopedics. She is author/co-author of Published 13 Research Articles at International Journals with total Impact Factor: 35.1783
During her doctoral dissertation and international workshop trainings, she gains hands-on experience in conducting different biochemical and molecular biology techniques including RT-PCR, Realtime PCR, Immunohistochemistry, Immunocytochemistry, ELISA, HPLC, liquid chromatography Western Blotting, gel electrophoresis, and Basic cell culturing techniques.
