PROFILE SUMMARY
- Dr. Kara is currently working as an Associate Professor at the Department of Computer Science, Mohammad Ali Jinnah University (MAJU), Karachi. He is alumni of MAJU, completing his Bachelors from here. Since finishing his PhD, in 2012, he was working as an Assistant Professor, at the Systems Engineering Department, King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), Saudi Arabia until 2021.
His research interest includes solving problems generated from diverse practical applications such as scheduling, scarce resource management, transportation, routing etc. using techniques from Operations Research (OR), Artificial Intelligence (AI) and/or Constraint Programming (CP) and recently Machine Learning (ML) and Data Science paradigms.
